It is the eve of my daughter's wedding and I am so full of emotion right now that I thought I would write about my feelings.
Cierra is such a joy in my life! She has always tried to do the right thing and she is such a good example of integrity for her family. I know with her level of commitment to life that it will be a blessing to her marriage. I am grateful for the opportunity to be her mother.
Blake completed his mission papers yesterday. He meets with the Stake President tonight for his interview and then the president will officially submit his application. Where did these last 19 years go? He may not be completely ready, but he is 100% committed to serving the Lord. I am so proud of my son. Blake likes to push all of my buttons, but no one is more generous and caring than he is.
I know Shyenne feels a little left out of all the excitement, but I hope she knows how much I have appreciated her lately. She has been telling lots of jokes and claims we won't even miss Blake's incredible sense of humor. She was a joy to be with on our cruise, eyes wide open and full of adventure. Soon it will be just the three of us and we are grateful that she is willing to fulfill the "only child" role.
My children are very special gifts that I am overwhelmingly grateful for. I want them to know how much meaning they have brought to my life. I am blessed!

You are such an awesome mom! I can't even imagine having to let my kids go. You will do great and so will they! Come on... you are their mom! They have to do great because you taught them great! We are excited to see you all TOMORROW!! Good luck!

lori the wedding was just beautiful. i think i am a better person just to have been there. I also learned some things that i did not know. you should be very proud of your children. you and john have done a swell job. love ya aunt mar.
Wow, I just found your blog through Brittney's and I can not believe how grown up your kids are now! Blake seemed so little and now he's going on a mission. That's crazy. Congratulations though (the mission and wedding) that is great and I'm sure very rewarding and scary as a mom, anyways it's great to see that life is going well for you, thanks for all the great years of dance you gave us, they are some of my most treasured memories.
The reception was beautiful! Everything was perfect. Cierra is lucky to have such a great Mom!
Cierra's wedding was very beautiful! That was one of the nicest weddings that I have ever been to at the Loft. It looked amazing, and it was just beautiful. Cierra was a beautiful bride. Congrats on everything!!
LORI, I WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU! I AM PROUD TO HAVE YOU AS MY SISTER! I AM SO GLAD I COULD BE APART OF CIERRA AND JON'S WEDDING. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! YOU HAVE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH, ESPECIALLY HOW IMPORTANT OUR CHILDREN ARE.

I want you to know what an amazing person I think you are. I was so impressed with how well you held it together while you were at work.
