Grandpa Oscar

Sunday, June 28th, we said goodbye to John's dad Oscar. He died peacefully in the arms of his loving wife. My kids are heartbroken. If you look up the word grandpa in the dictionary there is a picture of Oscar. He truly gives this word meaning. Oscar had a special relationship with each child, daughter-in-law, and grandchild. He has been our shining example of integrity. We love you and we will miss you.

It's sad to always loose someone so special! I'm glad he was such a big part of your lives and made an impression on your children. There's nothing like an amazing grandpa. They will always remember him.

Lori,
I didn't even know until Connie told me on Thursday. Sorry to hear about your families loss. I am glad your kids have great memories of their Grandpa. That is exactly why we wanted to move close to home so our kids can have those same experiences. Love you guys and are thinking about you :)

I'm so grateful that I was able to grow up so close to my family and especially my grandparents. I love grandpa so much and miss him more than I could ever imagine. It is so comforting to know he is in a better place. I hope that we can move back to Idaho and our baby can have the same special relationship with her grandparents!
