She did it! Cierra graduated from Utah School of Dental Hygiene. She has passed her written boards, anesthesia boards, and has to wait four weeks to find out the results of her clinical boards. I am so proud of my beautiful, blond, blue-eyed, little girl. I can not believe the incredible amount of stress she has endured this last semester: getting married, expecting a baby (that was a hard pill for a future grandma to swallow),morning sickness, IV therapy for dehydration, losing her cousin and dear friend, watching her brother enter the missionary only door, and taking three board exams. I am in awe of the endurance this has taken. Cierra is an example of determination and integrity. She has always had a fixation on her teeth, as I quote, best I can with my failing memory, from her journal when she was 8 "Nothing special happened today. I woke up, brushed my teeth six times, and went to school." Cierra, I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you! You are my hero!

That is a funny quote from her journal! We knew that she could do it, Cierra was always really smart in school! I remember she sat next to me in AP math (I think it was AP anyway) Ms. Waddell's class. She was 2 years younger than me!!! Your whole family has gone through a tremendous amount of change and that can be really hard. It sounds like she is having a tough pregnancy...we will keep her in our prayers! Thank you for your comments on my blog Lori! You have always been a special person in my life and I have always looked up to you. I appreciate everything that you have done for me! I really do love you!!!

I'm glad you are the future grandma and not me because going back to school is bad enough on my ego (age). Have a great day!!!

Lori you are the one that's amazing. It took a special mom to raise such wonderful kids. I just read Blake's letter and was so touched. Really and truly you have the greatest kids. I hope mine turn out half as well as yours. Please share with me all your secrets. Love you all so much and so glad we're a part of your family. Let us know Blake's address and we'll send him some letters. Please let Cierra know we're thinking and praying for her too.
