Happy Graduation Shyenne!

Shyenne and Jacob after graduation

Shyenne and Angie at BYUI graduation day

Congratulations to my beautiful daughter! You have brought us so much joy, happiness and of course a little drama over the years, but we have loved every minute we have spent with you. Your laughter is spontaneous and contagious. Thank you for lighting up my life!

Brynlee

Nine months ago Cierra found out she was expecting. I can't lie we were a little upset. Everything happened so fast. Nine months ago a loving Heavenly Father knew we would need this priceless baby to help heal our broken hearts. I am totally in love with this beautiful little girl. She has brought the sunshine back into our lives. Although life has been very difficult this last year I know that tender mercies have been placed in our pathway to keep us walking in the right direction. Thank you for our little girl.

Goodbye for now.

This picture was taken during one of the most memorable moments of the Ellsworth family. Gwen and Oscar took the entire family on a Mexican Riviera Cruise for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. These memories are now all we have to carry in our hearts. We are truly devastated by the loss of our mother and grandmother. I know that she loved her family more than she could ever express. Gwen thank you for all of the love you have shown my family and for one of the greatest grandmas a family could hope for. You will be missed. I will love you forever.

Bonneville Homecoming

Shyenne recently attended Bonneville's Homecoming with Jacob Shipton. I think she looked amazing. She has been a busy Senior with Rigby Dance Team (for personal reasons I find it difficult to say Troyettes), working at Heidi's Fudge, boyfriend, and ACT prep. She is planning on attending BYUI. Not BYUI do!!! This is one beautiful daughter whose motto is "laughter is the music for your heart to dance to".
I love you Shy Shy!

Viva Las Vegas

I can't believe summer is over. We had so much happen but we also had some fun times. I got to spend a week in Vegas with my beautiful mom, sister, and daughters. We had such a good time that I think this ought to be a tradition!

Grandpa Oscar

Sunday, June 28th, we said goodbye to John's dad Oscar. He died peacefully in the arms of his loving wife. My kids are heartbroken. If you look up the word grandpa in the dictionary there is a picture of Oscar. He truly gives this word meaning. Oscar had a special relationship with each child, daughter-in-law, and grandchild. He has been our shining example of integrity. We love you and we will miss you.

It's A Girl!

It's official Jon and Cierra are having a baby girl! She is due November 9th (same day my cruise is booked of course). Can anyone think of a cute grandma name for a new grandma? I am so excited to be a grandma to the world's most perfect grandchild!

Laughter is music for your heart to dance to!

Shyenne is going to dance for Rigby High School. I am so proud of her and I can't wait to be the supportive mom! Rigby Dance Team is definitely a program I believe in. I want to give a little shout out to the amazing girls I have coached along the way, including my own daughter Cierra. You all have changed and enhanced my life to a level I could not have reached without you. I took this job to help girls at Rigby, what I never expected was all the help and inspiration I received. I also want to thank the parents for their countless hours of help and guidance. They love their daughters! I want you all to continue setting and achieving your goals. I may have made mistakes along the way but my intentions were always worthy. I have no regrets for spending time with Rigby's finest. Thank you for your sacrifice; I love you. Way to go Shy; I love you and I love to watch you dance! It will be my pleasure to be the proud mom sitting on the bleachers.

She did it! Cierra graduated from Utah School of Dental Hygiene. She has passed her written boards, anesthesia boards, and has to wait four weeks to find out the results of her clinical boards. I am so proud of my beautiful, blond, blue-eyed, little girl. I can not believe the incredible amount of stress she has endured this last semester: getting married, expecting a baby (that was a hard pill for a future grandma to swallow),morning sickness, IV therapy for dehydration, losing her cousin and dear friend, watching her brother enter the missionary only door, and taking three board exams. I am in awe of the endurance this has taken. Cierra is an example of determination and integrity. She has always had a fixation on her teeth, as I quote, best I can with my failing memory, from her journal when she was 8 "Nothing special happened today. I woke up, brushed my teeth six times, and went to school." Cierra, I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you! You are my hero!

I am going to try and keep everyone updated about Blake's mission. For anyone who doesn't know, Blake was called to the France Paris mission. He entered the MTC on April 22, 2009. I don't think the MTC experience can be summed up in one word. But if I, personally, were going to choose a word it would be "Painful". I will never forget the look on his handsome face as I hugged him before leaving. I will never forget watching the tears stream down Cierra and Shyenne's faces. What can I say about John? Blake has worked by his side since he was 2. John is truly missing his best friend. The only thing more bleak than the actual separation is the long drive home. I spent the majority of time trying to swallow the lump in my throat. After we returned home I spent the next hour laying on his bed looking around his room. I am proud of the choice Blake has made, I just miss my little boy! One week down 103 to go!
